Registration and Publication

The primary wish of the Danish businesses and their advisors is a quick and effective registration by the DCCA. The registration, however, must not only be quick and effective but also thorough and of a high quality. Extensive use of Information and Communication technolygy has reduced the average registration time while maintaining the same level of quality. And in some specific cases – such as founding of Public Limited and Private Limited Companies – registration is instant. 60 – 70 per cent of all foundings and registrations of changes are carried out via Webreg – a self-service application on the internet.

Webreg is one of many digitalized solutions in the DCCA. Amongst these is the Revireg system for registration of accountancy firms and accountants, an “all digital signature” site. It is mandatory to register, it is only possible to register on the internet and it is only possible to gain access with a digital signature.

It is one of the main tasks of the DCCA to supply information about businesses. The DCCA is home of the Central Business Register (CVR). The CVR-register and the former Companies Register (Publi-com) provide a range of updated data available in various forms.

All annual reports from 1996 until today is available in PDF. From 2005 it has been possible to submit annual accounts in XBRL. A full-scale XBRL solution for the Danish class B annual reports has been running since the beginning of 2008. The XBRL Taxonomy in Denmark has been developed by the DCCA in co-operation with both industry and experts.

On an international level the DCCA is involved in the EBR project concerning easy access to reliable information on companies all over Europe.
