The Danish Commerce and Companies Agency (DCCA) is responsible for the administration and development of a number of legislative business acts including:
Furthermore, the DCCA is responsible for a variety of commercial laws applicable to certain types of business such as accountants and auditors, real estate agents, authorised translators and interpreters.
The DCCA is also involved in the administration of authorisation of restaurants and hotels as well as the HomeService Scheme.
The DCCA is also responsible for legislation related to these subjects on an EU- and international level. The DCCA is the competent authority in relation to EU legislation in the area of company law including accounting and auditing. The DCCA is representing the Danish Ministry of Business and Economic Affairs at the working group meetings of the European Council and in other areas of the EU.
